ELEPHANT SAFARI RIDE
If you have never sat atop a large elephant then now is your chance! You can even experience ‘Safari Under the Stars’, a specially designed night trail, with a ride through the dimly lit forest. And you will love the baby elephants!
Take a fascinating look into Balinese villages and rural life on this easy downhill ride. Start near Mount Batur volcano and cycle down through 25 km of ancient hindu villages, temples, rice fields and secret gardens. This tour can be designed for families with children or a range of different grades can be tailored for a more adventurous “off road” experience.
PAINT A POT
Aside from its ceramics factory, showroom and the Warung Keramik café, Jenggala’s headquarters in Bali offers visitors a unique experience to craft their very own ceramic creation. The Paint-a-Pot program provides a unique opportunity to explore your inner artiste and bring home a souvenir for friends, family or yourself; anyone can take part, no matter age or level of artistic experience and each participant chooses how independently they’d like to work or how much assistance they want each step of the way. Bring in a group for a carefree event or get serious with your creativity.
First you’ll choose from a selection of ceramic mugs, bowls, plates, cups and saucers. Then, sketch a design for your piece and select from an array of colors and glazes to match. You’ll be ready to paint before you know it! There are stencils and sponge shapes to help guide or let loose with free form technique.
Jenggala’s trained and friendly staff is available to help you at any point in your creative process. Finally, your creation is fired in Jenggala’s on-site kilns and will be ready in 2 to 4 days. In the future, the Paint-a-Pot program will expand, offering courses in ceramics and an off-site program that will bring the fun and creativity to travelers at resorts and entertainment venues on the island.
The paint a pot is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Last session at 4pm
